Oakridge’s Women’s Ministry provides a Christ-centered environment where women can meet the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him. This ministry offers various events, studies and services as an avenue for women:
- to come together to learn, serve and encourage one another through a variety of activities designed to meet both their physical and spiritual needs’
- to provide a venue where they will build lasting friendships and be drawn nearer to Jesus Christ;
- to be equipped, enabled and encouraged in their faith so that they can reach out to the lost around them.
Beth Moore Simulcast – September 23, 2017
We are excited to be hosting the Beth Moore Simulcast this September 23rd! Plan now to join us as she asks “Are you willing to step out and trust Him?” This year the simulcast will focus on one theme: Captivated: The Wonder of Christ on the Winding Road. Beth will share truth from Scripture to help guide women on their own journeys of faith.
We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves.
In this 6-session Bible study, Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. Because in this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live a life of faithfulness.
September 12 & 26, October 10 & 24, November 7 & 21.

Fall 2017 Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Are our emotions an enemy to be defeated, or a gift to be enjoyed?
Every one of us has been there—torn between conflicting emotions, crushed by grief, or totally overcome with joy. One moment we can be completely happy and the next we can be confused and sad. Are these emotions and feelings something we need to overcome, ignore, or just accept? Wouldn’t life be easier without all the tumultuous feelings we experience? Could it be that we’re emotional beings because we have been made in the image of an emotional God?
Through this study, you will explore twelve Bible passages and characters that expressed raw emotion. You will feel more empowered to handle negative emotions in a healthy way, and you will have a deeper appreciation for emotions in general. You will have confidence that your emotions are not only good, but godly.

Counseling & mentoring are open to any woman who wants to grow in her Christian walk and be held accountable and capable. Encouragement is offered to all women in the church to “call back” to those who are younger either spiritually or chronologically and so fulfill the command in Titus 2: 3-5: “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
