Oakridge’s Women’s Ministry provides a Christ-centered environment where women can meet the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him. This ministry offers various events, studies and services as an avenue for women:
- to come together to learn, serve and encourage one another through a variety of activities designed to meet both their physical and spiritual needs’
- to provide a venue where they will build lasting friendships and be drawn nearer to Jesus Christ;
- to be equipped, enabled and encouraged in their faith so that they can reach out to the lost around them.

Winter/Spring 2018 Tuesday Evening Bible Study
In this biblical guide to authentic repentance and restoration, we will examine why devoted followers of Jesus Christ can fall into the traps of Satan.
Believers are still subject to Satan’s attacks. He is determined to disrupt the lives of Christians, destroy their ministry, and steal their joy. Sadly, those who have “fallen” may not recognize the devil’s schemes until they have already been caught in a snare of defeat. This six-week study is written in three parts. The first part is a warning to believers, while the second part shows women how to prepare for attacks by the Enemy. The third part is directed to those who have been snared by seduction, and compassionately points the way back to God.

Fall/Winter 2017 Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Are our emotions an enemy to be defeated, or a gift to be enjoyed?
Every one of us has been there—torn between conflicting emotions, crushed by grief, or totally overcome with joy. One moment we can be completely happy and the next we can be confused and sad. Are these emotions and feelings something we need to overcome, ignore, or just accept? Wouldn’t life be easier without all the tumultuous feelings we experience? Could it be that we’re emotional beings because we have been made in the image of an emotional God?
Through this study, you will explore twelve Bible passages and characters that expressed raw emotion. You will feel more empowered to handle negative emotions in a healthy way, and you will have a deeper appreciation for emotions in general. You will have confidence that your emotions are not only good, but godly.
